We have a long tradition of working in partnership with our students and their families to keep a Carroll education within reach. A Carroll education can be the best investment you ever make, with a lifelong return. We'll do all we can to keep the costs of that education affordable.

Apply for Financial Aid in two easy steps:

Step 1: Submit your FAFSA

Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.

  • Apply for your FSA ID when logging into studentaid.gov/fsa-id.
  • If you are a dependent student for FAFSA purposes, your parent(s) will need an FSA ID too.
  • Follow the instructions and complete all questions.
  • Carroll's FAFSA school code is 003838. By including this number on your FAFSA, your results will be sent directly to us.
  • You (and your parent, if dependent) sign your FAFSA using your FSA IDs.
  • Submit your FAFSA to the Department of Education.
  • Print out a copy of your completed FAFSA for your records.

The federal government usually takes 2–3 days to process the application.

Step 2: What to look for after you file your FAFSA

Approximately 2-3 weeks after we receive your FAFSA, you will receive your financial aid award via mail to the address you provided.
